As an established, experienced and independent niche firm of Chartered Surveyors, Property and Construction Consultants, we offer a wide range of professional services to both commercial and residential clients throughout the UK and abroad.
We work with some of Britain’s largest commercial and residential organisations, as well as numerous private individuals and investors providing building surveys, architectural services and design, project management, dilapidations, party wall, project monitoring, contract administration, insurance and expert witness services.

Offering MORE THAN four decades of professional property & construction EXPERIENCE.
Launched on 1st May 2000 by long term colleagues Mark Assinder and Steve Turnham (Chartered Surveyors), the practice has gone from strength to strength.
Many of our client relationships can be traced back over four decades – a number of our clients having first instructed us in the 1980’s.
Our leaders have wide ranging and comprehensive experience (Managing Director Stephen Turnham was previously a partner in a major national multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy and Practice Director Mark Assinder gained experience with no fewer than four private practice consultancies geographically spread across the UK before founding Assinder Turnham).

Our founding directors Mark Assinder and Steve Turnham (Chartered Surveyors) with approaching 35 and more than 40 years experience respectively pride themselves on developing Assinder Turnham as a well respected consultancy, able to offer a highly professional service with in-depth knowledge to a variety of clients, both large and small.
Mark Assinder
Chartered Building Surveyor BSc (Hons) MRICS
Mark qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1988. He has a particular interest in the architectural side of building surveying and relishes being involved in the design of bespoke buildings, extensions and conversions.
Stephen Turnham
Chartered Building Surveyor BSc FRICS
Steve qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1984 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) in 1991. He has more than 40 years property and construction consultancy experience.
